Food Advertisements
The picture above shows a page from the McDonald's home website. This isn't necessarily an advertisement, but it paints a pretty clear picture. As you can see, a woman is enjoying a salad from Mcdonald's and the picture is located under the "Eat Smart" tab. This is where the entire comprehension is scewed. Are McDonald's salads really healthy as they are advertised? Is eating a salad from McDonald's healthy and beneficial to my body? These are all questions people have about the food, but we have grown up in a world driven by marketing. For this reason, the average person doesn't dig in to unveil the truth and see what is truly hidden behind the happy, "all is good" advertisements that are forced down our throats. Because of this, the fast food companies win. Mcdonald's salads aren't healthy. If you take a look at the nutrition facts, which many of us don't, you will find that they are VERY unhealthy. This is why the entire industry is but a joke. They sugar coat everything to make it appealing to the eye and lie to us day in and day out to make us believe that the food they serve is actually beneficial. In conclusion, the industry has brainwashed the majority of the human race and it has worked tremendously. They will never stop this act, which leads us to our only hope; our own knowledge.

I like this because I totally agree that a lot of places now are advertising that they're much healthier. When we think of a salad you think its good for you, but coming from McDonalds it changes tremendously.
ReplyDeletei like this ad and agree with what you are saying to because their salads are really unhealthy like the rest of their food.
